Better Blokes Terms and Conditions
Better Blokes is a weekend for men aged 15yo to 110yo where we Get Real with God, ourselves and others
Registrations
Registrations for Better Blokes are accepted under the following conditions:
Payment
Full payment must be online made credit card (only VISA or MasterCard are accepted). If a payment is disputed Lutheran Church of Australia NSWACT District reserves the right to cancel and reallocate the booking.
Early bird discounts, where offered, apply only when full payment is received by the end of the early bird period.
The online booking system provides the option to pay by credit card. Online transactions are processed through a secure gateway and no credit card details are collected or stored by Lutheran Church of Australia NSWACT District.
An online booking is confirmed only when a confirmation email from Lutheran Church of Australia NSWACT District is received by the applicant stating that the booking was successful.
If a person is unable to register and pay online they are encouraged to contact the Lutheran Church of Australia NSWACT District office 02 8660 1200 for assistance.
Medical and Dietary matters
Changes to dietary or medical requirements: If dietary or medical needs change after the registration, please notify the office immediately at [email protected].
Owing to catering restrictions, changes to dietary requirements may not be possible within 10 working days of the commencement of the event.
Cancellations
All events must meet a minimum number in order to run. If the minimum is not reached and Lutheran Church of Australia NSWACT District cancels the event, then a full refund will apply.
If you need to cancel your booking you need to make a cancellation request to [email protected] or 02 8660 1200.
Refunds may be granted in the following circumstances:
Cancellation occurs whilst registrations for the event remain open – Full refund (excluding credit card and administration fees) will apply.
Cancellation occurs after registrations for the event have closed - Refund less costs incurred will apply (costs incurred include accommodation fee, credit card fees and administration fee)
Where possible, Lutheran Church of Australia NSWACT District will endeavour to refund some of the event fee. Part refunds will not be given for partial attendance at an event. All refunds and fees are at the discretion of Lutheran Church of Australia NSWACT District.
Photos and videos
The event is considered a public event, with photos and videos taken at most of the sessions. We cannot guarantee that your photo will not be taken, however if you do not wish to appear in a photo of any publication that promotes Better Blokes or the Lutheran Church of Australia including the NSW and ACT District, then you should request this by notifying Better Blokes [email protected] with your name, contact details and a photo of yourself.
Privacy Policy
Lutheran Church of Australia NSWACT District will not release personal information, including email addresses, home address and phone numbers to third parties unless authorised by the individual. Lutheran Church of Australia NSWACT District adheres to the LCA Privacy Policy (2015).
Registrations
Registrations for Better Blokes are accepted under the following conditions:
- Confirmation of your entitlement to any reduce registration fee (i.e. you are a fist time attender, student or dependant)
- Completion and return of any necessary forms within 5 working days of completion of the booking.
- Full payment is received and processed.
- There is no legal impediment to a person attending Better Blokes or the Warrambui Retreat and Conference Centre
- Registrations are subject to all policies of the Lutheran Church of Australia (LCA), and Warrambui Retreat and Conference Centre (Warrambui). These include the LCA's "Prevention of Risk of Sexual Offence by a Person of Concern" policy and Warrambui's "Safeguarding Children and Young People" policies which excludes known sex offenders from attending this event.
